Basic learn-how-to-sew classes  

Students will participate in a series of four (4) sessions of one-on-one sewing instruction in instructor's home.  Each session will be one hour long.  

Students will learn how to do basic hand-stitches, sew on buttons, mend minor rips/tears, and operate a sewing machine to create a finished item.  

During the four classes the student will use their learned skills to complete a project of their choice with the instructor.  The finished project will be taken home at the completion of the fourth session.  All supplies and the use of one of our sewing machines will be provided. $120 for one person, for 4 classes 

Class time scheduling will be coordinated via Diengie Facebook page after payment.  Classes will be offered beginning January 2024. Classes are held in instructor's Canton-Akron, OH home. 

You will receive a sewing kit with purchase.  Please provide address at checkout to receive your sewing kit.  If you are purchasing classes as a gift that you will hand deliver, please include your address, not your giftee.  We don't want to ruin any surprises!  You will receive the sewing kit and a certificate listing class description which you can wrap and use for gifting!

B.Y.O.M. (Bring Your Own Machine)  

Do you have a sewing machine that is collecting dust?  Did you buy it with high hopes or inherit it and get stuck at threading it?  Want some help?  This class is for you.   

In this one-on-one two (2) hour class we will check over your machine, and together explore basic machine maintenance, threading, and sewing!  Students will complete a mini-project of their choice during the class time.   At the end of this class you will be ready to fly solo!

Friends who sew together...    

Do you always feel the need to have a buddy when visiting a public restroom? Do you want to learn to sew or brush up on your skills?  Then this class may be for you!  

Grab a friend and come for this two hour class where together you will receive basic machine instruction and complete a mini-project of your choice.  All supplies and the use of our machines will be provided.  Great for besties or parent-child duos. $90 for two people

You and your friend will receive a gift with purchase. Your gifts will be shipped to the purchaser.

Maker Party--Christmas Edition

Who said sewing doesn't make a great party activity?  Not us!  Gather a group of three-five (3-5) friends, coworkers, and/or family members for a Maker Party--Christmas Edition!  

Your group will have a blast and go home with a completed project made with your own 10 hands. 

This 2.5 hour class includes supplies for your project, the use of our machines (all set up and ready when you arrive at instructor's Canton-Akron, OH home), a finished project, light refreshments, and fun with your friends.   

Each participant in your group will all create their own project—the same for everyone, chosen at checkout.  For this Christmas Edition Maker Party you can choose to make a Patchwork Stocking OR a Christmas Tree pillow.  See listing photos for details.  Everyone in your party will make the same project.  

One person can start the party by purchasing their registration (or everyone's), party date, and project. If everyone in the party will handle their own registration/payment, each person will just choose a quantity of one (1) at checkout. Get everyone on the same page--everyone in your party must choose the same project and party date at checkout. $45 per person
