FAQ

What is R3?  It stands for Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.  At Diengie we are committed to practicing R3 in our business and at home.  On this page you will find practical tips and links to other websites to help you make small yet important changes in your own life.  Just by making one small change a month you will be doing great things for the environment.  Check back often to learn more about being environmentally responsible.  It is easy being green!

Diengie's R3 top ten:

These are some ideas we have put into practice.

1.  Use reusable  shopping bags.

2.  Recycle everything possible.  Find out what pick-up services or drop-off locations are available in your city and what items can be recycled.

3.  Buy used and help reduce demand for some goods.

4.  Send e-cards.

5.  Use printer mess-ups as note paper.  Take a sheet that was only printed on one side and cut or tear into 4-6 equal pieces.  These are just the right size for a note to your hubby or a short shopping list.

6.  Donate unwanted items.  Remember "one person's trash is another person's treasure".

7.  Conserve gasoline.  Plan your route for running errands before leaving the house in order to avoid driving in circles and wasting precious resources.

8.  Reuse whatever you can--your plastic water bottles, plastic and glass food containers, cardboard boxes, bread bags. . .

9.  Stop using plastic produce bags at the grocery store.  Use cloth produce bags instead.

10. Dress for the weather--indoors--and turn down your thermostat (or turn it up in the summer).

Some food for thought.  A store that sells all of its goods 'unpackaged'!  Too bad it's in London.
